The large holiday cottage is located in a beautiful and tranquil area of West Wales, with outstanding views and surrounded by the spectacular Cambrian Mountains – a short drive from the bustling university town of Aberystwyth, West Wales with a local shop and two pubs 3 miles away.
Although the large holiday cottage rural, it is easily accessible and provides the perfect base for exploring the local area, which has plenty to offer visitors of all ages. Further information can be found in the Local Area section.
Walking is available right on the doorstep, from the Ystwyth Trail - a 20 mile cycle route connecting Aberystwyth and Tregaron which is adjacent to Bryn Bach, to exploring the Cambrian Mountains, Cors Caron raised bog, the nearby Hafod Estate or the Wales coastal path. We have been awarded Walkers Welcome status from the Welsh Tourist Board.
Surrounding the property is a large decking area on which to enjoy the views and watch the red kites circling overhead. In springtime, you can watch lambs playing in the field. Behind the house is a SSSI nature reserve, designated to protect marsh fritillary butterflies.
The property is ideal for families with children, with plenty of places for children to play, including a games room, a climbing frame complete with swings and slide, a field to kick a ball around and a small woodland area.
Dogs are welcome, and the area around the house is fenced, so they can also enjoy the great outdoors.

"This is a spacious, comfy and cosy house for big parties. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, a real haven in bad weather, of which there was a lot in our week at Bryn Bach. Luckily going back to the house for lunch was a pleasure and at least we saw some great waterfalls! The welcome provisions were much appreciated, as was the games room in the evenings."
